Yes the German's favourite tilt n turn window and door system is virtually a
burglar safe window system. We call it the Ultimate Window and Door System.
The tilt-turn window series is the most versatile window design on today's
market. It allows you to have many different options, and without compromising
your design.
Tilt & Turn The sash turns inward to clean, or tilts inward for ventilation.
Tilt-Only The sash tilts inward. Hopper hinges are located along the button of
the sash.
French Tilt & Turn Both sashes turn inward to clean. Only the active sash tilts
in for ventilation. A clear opening is provided when both sashes are in the
swing open position.

Notes on the Ultimate Window Series:
a ) confirm that you have the correct swings specified
b ) specify the handle side for tilt-only windows
c ) sill material must not interfere with the hopper hinges on tilt-only windows
d ) windows swing in 90 degrees only
e ) only the active side of French windows tilts
f ) one egress window is required in bedroom when no patio doors are present.
Check that any windows that are specified as egress have sufficient opening
according to local codes.
g ) standard glass is 4mm clear annealed
h ) standard low e soft, when specified is RLE
i ) tempered glass is required for doors.
j ) the swing function on arch or round top operable windows will be impeded by
the arch. Swing
function will be less than 90 degrees, depending on the radius
of the windows.
k ) Consideration must be taken for blinds, since this is an inward opening
window.
