Parallel Tilt and Glide System |

|
Parallel tilt and glide doors are an attractive and functional addition to any
home or project. The custom designed and manufactured doors offer the
combination of a bottom hinged tilt door and a door which glides parallel into
the open position. This design is great for areas that do not accommodate swing
doors or if you want to maximize your room area. The door can be tilted for
ventilation . Replace your swing door or your ordinary patio sliding door with a
parallel tilt and glide door. The hardware for the parallel tilt and glide doors
makes it possible to achieve maximum opening sizes. Just as an example, if you
have a 20 foot wide opening, the center portion could have a 10 foot opening
with the parallel tilt and glide system. The sash size can range up to 1.60 m
(63 inches). The parallel tilt-glider door is draft free when the door is
closed.

The parallel tilt and glide system is ideal for any patio, terrace or balcony
design because of its flexible sizing. Using the parallel tilt and glide system
can create beautiful walls of functional glass in a most economic way, even in
standard single-family housing projects. The advantage of the parallel tilt and
glide doors over your ordinary swing doors is that the door sash glides away
smoothly. It is not to be compared with the ordinary North American patio slider
door either. The parallel tilt and glide also is equipped with stainless steel
multi –point locking hardware, and each part of the frame and sash are
reinforced. It also comes with compressible seals on the frame and the sash. The
construction with reinforced vinyl, compressive seals, multi point locking
system and energy efficient glass makes your system a phenomenal sealed door
system which offers beauty, strength and thermal insulation and peace of mind. |

The parallel tilt and glide door offers smooth and easy operation. With one hand
you can easily pull the handle into the tilt function, which is securely locked
a the bottom. When the parallel tilt and glide door is in the tilt position,
there is no entry from the exterior possible and therefore makes this a secure
door. You need to release the hardware in order to grant entry - One more pull
on the handle and the door hardware releases the sash so that you can glide the
door across to the non opening panel. The ease of operation is pending
completely on the manufacture and was proven in the past to be difficult to
operate for elder people and children. With the parallel tilt and glide hardware
offered from Vera-De Windows Inc you can rest assured that you will receive a
smooth and problem free operational parallel tilt and glide door system. |
